NARROWS LP "NEW DISTANCES" out today!

Yo yo, everybody. In a somewhat related Snake's post. My other band Narrows is releasing our first LP entitled New Distances. Head on out and buy that little guy. It's stellar if I may say so. The CD is available now and the vinyl should be ready in a couple weeks. The vinyl will be a glorious gatefold. Deathwish Records is releasing both of these bad boys.

Yet Another Record Store Day Release To Think About…

…but it's the Snakes so you love it! It's the even-more-limited-than-before release of your favorite Russian Circles/TAAS release! That's right they went so fast before thanks to all you suckas that bought it that Sargent House is reissuing 1000 more in a very killer clear-ish type vinyl as you can see above. But for those of you that can't get to your local independent store on April 18th, there's still help for you yet. If you point your clicker guy here then we got you covered as well. Big ups to Sargent House on this shit! Whoop whoop!
Oh and a huge THANK YOU to Darker My Love, All the Saints, The Coathangers, Young Widows, Tera Melos and every other band we played with for all being so fucking killer on this last tour. Oh and thanks to Chase2 for selling out of our beer coozies so fast! He had that shit down! Love you, Chasey! We had the best times ever!

TAAS is on Tour so go vote for them on MTVU Freshmen

Let's freak them out and win this thing on MTVU Freshmen so their video will get added to rotation.

You know it's time colleges across the country got Schooled so go VOTE For These Arms Are Snakes video for Red Line Season to win so they can spin some of that goodness.
Vote all day, and Vote Everyday this week until they win, wouldn't it be fun to just bum out all the cheerleaders on campus with some good rock.

New split 7" w/ All The Saints

The split 12" with Russian Circles is almost entirely gone. We just reordered the split 7" with Tropics, but the original pressing of 500 is running out. The split 10" with Pelican sold like hotcakes, and the CD version just got repressed with new covers. The split 7" with Minus The Bear will be out whenever they get off their asses and pick a song to cover. But in the midst of all that, we are pleased to announce another split record!

We are honored to announce that Touch & Go Records is doing a limited split 7" with TAAS and upcoming tour-mates All The Saints. Our side features the track "Washburn" which was recorded during the TS&D session. In keeping with our Alicja Trout obsession, she was kind enough to provide the artwork for our side of the record. We're very excited to collaborate with the boys in All the Saints. Don't know a whole lot about this Touch & Go label though... I think maybe they put out a Meatmen record years ago?

The split should be out in time for the u.s. tour later this month.
